I recently sold my family home of 46 years and moved to a townhouse—and both of these monumental undertakings are best navigated with a trustworthy, knowledgeable, experienced realtor guiding you expertly throughout the entire process of buying and selling. I consider myself most fortunate to have chosen a realtor who successfully guided me through both the selling of my home and the purchase of a nice townhouse in the select area in which I had always longed to live. And that realtor is Colin Voerding, a delightful, dedicated, savvy realtor with Coldwell Banker in Highland Park in St. Paul. Let me tell you about Colin, and why he is an awesome person and realtor.
I first became aware of Colin by his cheerful presence at my coffee shop of choice, and I was drawn to him because of his upbeat personality and friendliness toward everyone he encountered there. One day I noticed his business card posted on the bulletin board there, and I was intrigued by seeing that he was a realtor. The more I came to know Colin, the surer I was that he was the agent I would want to have working for me. When I asked if he would like to serve as my realtor, he enthusiastically agreed—and thus began a professional relationship between us that led me to a highly satisfactory sale of one home and the purchase of another that met every one of my expectations.
What makes Colin such a great realtor? For sure, you will never find a realtor who will outwork Colin: he dedicates himself fully to your needs, is an effective communicator who makes sure he completely understands your goals, works tirelessly on your behalf, never says no to setting up showings no matter how short a notice you give him, and negotiates skillfully for you to get the most “bang for the buck” on both the house you sell and the house you buy. And he patiently and clearly answers every question you throw his way, always with his innate good nature, keen sense of humor, and desire to serve you in your quest.
House buying is a challenging, sometimes frustrating experience, yet Colin never demonstrated the least doubt in successfully leading me to the house of my dreams, calmly comforting me through the discouragement of not having the winning bid on four different houses I wanted. His patience and confidence and enthusiasm and encouragement that we would, in time, find the right house always buoyed up my spirits and made the entire experience an adventure and a successful quest. Colin simply shone throughout the entire house selling and house buying process.
I would like to add that Colin’s high code of ethics and professional expertise never failed to impress me, on a daily basis.
